Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
How I wonder where you are?
Yes, I do know it’s really “what you are”, but that doesn’t fit my story. I’m pleading poetic license or something like that.
That’s just a teaser, anyway, because first, I want to thank everyone who linked to me in Shelly’s “Let’s Rock The Rock Chick’s World” raffle to make me an A-List Blogebrity!
I started the day yesterday with 454 links and am currently showing 466 and a lot of the links posted yesterday haven’t even been picked up by Technorati yet! Cool, right? You guys are awesome!
Shelly’s contest will continue until I get to 500 links! If you haven’t joined in the fun yet and want to find out how, just
go here!
Speaking of A-Listers, Chicago is being graced by the superstar presence of...Brangelina! That’s right, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, right here, twinkling up The Windy City. (I know, exciting, isn’t it?) They will be the only people with perfectly blowing hair, I’m sure.
Here’s a little Chicago tidbit: While Chicago can certainly be very windy, there are stories that The Windy City is actually a reference to the long-winded and bragging speeches made by our politicians. I have no idea if this is true or not, but it is interesting.
Not as interesting, though, as Brangelina!. Sightings of them have been on the news all day and they don’t seem to be hiding. In fact, Angelina was spotted with her daughter in a toy store and the two of them spent almost 30 minutes in there and took pictures with other customers. They’ve also been spotted all over the area by their hotel, located right near Chinatown, where Angelina is filming a movie.
Since it’s been pouring this entire week and today it is expected to be sunny, albeit hot (almost 100 degrees) and since I totally honed my stalking skills on Bon Jovi last week, the kids and I have decided that we might attempt a Brangelina sighting today!
Well, it will have to be an Angelina sighting because we just heard on the ten o’clock news that Brad Pitt has returned to L.A. for jury duty. Oh well. She seems to be the more mysterious of the two, anyway.
My tabloid trained teens and I are ready to go, digital cameras and all! If we see her, hopefully I won’t be so star struck that I forget to take a picture, a la, The Bon Jovi Incident.
I don’t think that will happen. She may be an A-Lister, but she’s no Bon Jovi, that’s for sure. Come to think of it, she’s not even an almost A-List Blogebrity Rock Chick. You know, like me :)
