Jenny, I've Got Your Number

I have a friend named JennyMcB
She writes a great blog, I’m sure you’d agree
We're playing this game
You can do the same
Just write one and enter her limerick jubilee!

The rules are easy and clean
And it’s open to you, you blogging machine
Just give people a peek
At what makes you unique
On the world wide web’s blogging scene

Write a limerick, c’mon it’s easy
They’re lots of fun, they’re light and breezy
If you don’t know how, just click here
Cause there are a few rules to which to adhere
With number one being nothing “too sleazy” :)

I really hope you’ll play along
The competition’s really strong
I love to rhyme
When I have the time
Here's my entry...“The Rock Chick’s Song”

There's a super fab blogger called Rock Chick
Who schmoozes her fans with some pretty good schtick
The whole world is fair game
She rants without shame
Admitting, at times, it just might be laid on “a bit” thick.

How fun!!! =) I am no good at those things, so unless I am inspired I don't think I will try it =) Though maybe I could ask Paul to do it ... he's got a great mind for those!!

How are you doing today?

Hmm... Paul just got home and wants to do this =) So I guess I'll be entering!! Did you write the WHOLE thing, or just what is in bold?

Wow, you did a great job!

I'm just glad there is a "random draw" prize since everyone seems to be so much better poets than me :-)

A Rock Chick who knows how to rhyme
Gives us all a pretty good time.
All her ranting is keen,
She's a writing "machine!"
She'll win 'cuz her writing's sublime!

What an imaginative post. And you played hurt, rhyming through your heartache. I know I shouldn't try to influence the judge, but I hope Jenny gives you extra points for that!

Fun! I might have to play... when it's not 2am. ;oP

Thanks for the comment. Those earrings took me a few hours, but mostly because it was the first time I made them, and I had to figure out the size I wanted to make each ring. I could probably crank them out in about an hour or maybe a little more once I get the hang of it. :)

Oh, and I hope you don't mind that I'm adding you to my blog roll so I can remember to visit you more often! :)
