Ohhhhhhh, Baby!

The very best kinds of friends are the ones you consider to be family. Today two people that I love very much welcomed their first baby, a boy named Mason. I haven't seen him yet, but I hear he is a dark-haired cutie!

When I got the phone call, I was elated that he was here and asked that they give the baby a kiss from "Miss Jessica" (which is what every kid and the phone company call me). They said no.

I paused for a second not believing my ears when they piped up that they'd be happy to give little Mason a kiss from Aunt Jessica. Even better :)
