Slam Dunk!
Ohhhhhh, I’m very excited!!!
I know, it’s hard to believe because (despite my begging), no one wanted to go see Barry Manilow with me on Saturday Night. (Please come back for tomorrow’s Thursday Thirteen on this very subject!)
However, I just scored two slam dunk tickets to see The Harlem Globetrotters on Friday night!
I haven’t seen them since I was little and that sort of makes up for The Barry Manilow thing. My son and I will be going! I’ll let you know how it goes!
P.S. I know neither of these events is "rock chicky", but I'm a very diverse rock chick :)

I saw the Globetrotters when I was kid. It was cool because I got to meet Curly Neal before the game started.

I hate basketball with a purple passion, but the Harlem Globetrotters are COOL.
Heck, they've even been on Scooby Doo before! That's the big time baby.
I can remember seeing them when I was a little girl. It was a big family evening out.
I still think Barry would have been better! Hope you had fun anyway!
