Pandora's Box
I've started something that I'm sure will end up being Pandora's box, but I'm so enjoying it for now.
What is it?
Making band saw boxes! I bought a book that has 25 different boxes and you make them in order to develop some skillz :)
Here's my very first attempt! The box was made on the band saw. It looked too plain, so I drew a little butterfly, burned in some details and then used my scroll saw to cut it out and make a little handle. 
What do you think?

Very beautiful, some day I want to do that too, I want to have my own tools though and not have to share with the husband.

I had never heard of band saw boxes until now. I'd say you have some skillz. I look forward to seeing any future ones that you make.
sassy: my husband and I seem to be drawn to different power tools. He has no interest in the scroll saw or the band saw.
That big nail gun we just got, though? Wow. He loves that thing. Scares me to death! LOL

Girlfriend! You constantly amaze me. Who would have thunk a "rock chick" could work with a band saw. I am impressed! Love it!
